Anseo Secondary - School Attendance Management

Ivertec pioneered the use of student swipe card systems for secondary schools in Ireland . The demand for the system is driven by its time saving features and its ability to help schools comply with the Education and Welfare Act 2000 in relation to recording student absence. Currently 55 schools use the system.  Anseo has been on the Irish market for 7 years.


How does it Work?


The fundamental concept behind Anseo Secondary is that the onus is on each student
to prove their attendance by the use of a student identification card as they enter their school. This enables administrators to follow up on non-attendance and punctuality in great detail, leading to a better level of accuracy in attendance records.



bullet Each student has an identification card containing their name, date-of-birth, student number and photograph
bullet Each morning and afternoon the student passes their card through scanning devices located at school entrance points
bullet Without any further data entry or processing, the school attendance administrator can print attendance, absenteeism and punctuality reports.
