Ivertec in Education
Ivertec is now the leading Irish developer of information management software and services to all levels of the education sector. Since 2000 the company has, through established partnerships with various educational institutions compiled a wide ranging portfolio of administration and attendance products.
In 2000, a new school in Cahirciveen approached the company to develop an system to allow the school to collect and monitor attendance in the school. Joe Hayes was recruited at the time as a software developer to design and produce this system. After significant interest was shown in the system, Ivertec decided to develop the Anseo system as an off the shelf attendance management system for secondary schools. It was launched in 2003.

Ivertec’s innovative development techniques alongside our customer focused service allows the company to provide complete solutions from concept through installation, training and after sales support. Our Agile approach to development allows our small company to produce flexible solutions in a very short time frame whilst maintaining quality. Through the commitment of our personnel we have recently extended Agile methodologies to Project Management and Software Validation.
Other Services
Since moving office to Mastergeehy the company has supplied wireless broadband to the homes and businesses of south Kerry. In order for the company to thrive in this location we needed a high quality broadband connection. This was not available from the broadband operators as like many of our customers we were too far from the telephone exchanges. With the assistance of Udaras Na Gaeltachta we set up Iveragh Broadband which now serves over 150 customers with high quality broadband. Clubtext was developed in 2006 to fulfil a gap in the market for low cost text messaging systems for sports clubs and organisations. Through our experience working with text messaging Ivertec were able to provide an online solution which is used by 120 clubs in Ireland and the UK. On average the system sends 5000 messages per day.
